RAPOSNet represents the RAPOS™ communication protocols
that have been designed specifically to optimize low
bandwidth, high latency and unreliable wireless networks. The RAPOS™ protocol stack makes use of the UDP
transport protocol as a basis, and then implements an
optimized congestion window and variable packet sizing
algorithms to ensure packet transfer is quick and efficient. The RAPOSNet protocols also implement techniques to
allow terminals in the field to operate normally despite
network outages, using techniques such as Local Authentication
and Delayed Authentication with back propagation feedback
mechanisms. The RAPOSNet communication mechanisms are patent pending.
