Many retailers have invested time and money in large scale, expensive loyalty card programs, only to find the results disappointing. Most loyalty card solutions face one or many of the following challenges:

  • Customers simply don’t like carrying an additional card in their pocket, hence defeating the purpose of creating a frequency based loyalty card

The Solution

Our RAPOS™ technology platform offers a unique, tried and tested solution for retailers to turn the mobile handset into a retailer’s loyalty card, always in the back pocket of the customer.

Customers sign up to the loyalty database by simply texting in their name and post code. In return, customers receive an upfront offer to activate their mobile phone barcode loyalty card. Subsequently the mobile barcode is used to collect points, redeem points and check the account using SMS, Web, IVR, & retail outlet loyalty card readers.

Step 1: Customer registers for a loyalty scheme at their favourite retail store and receives a unique mobile barcode which now acts as their ‘loyalty card’.

Step 2: Every time the customer collects a loyalty point they swipe their mobile barcode over the RAPOSNet terminal and the points are added to their loyalty account.

Step 3: Customer converts the points into valuable offers from retail outlets in the RAPOSNet network.

Step 4: Customer authenticates the offers (discounts, free gifts etc.) real time at the RAPOSNet terminal in store and the points are deducted from their loyalty account on the RAPOS™ server.

Step 5: Report on customer activity and redemption levels available immediately online. Data is captured every time customers collect and convert their loyalty points.
