Virgin Mobile launches national mobile ticketing promotion
Mobile tickets from Flytxt and ActiveMedia Technology enable Virgin Mobile customers to access live music faster
01 November, 2006, London - Virgin Mobile today extended its commitment to rewarding customer loyalty working with Flytxt and ActiveMedia Technology to offer customers a new mobile ticketing queue jumping facility.
Entitled Q Jump, the promotion will give Virgin Mobile music fans faster access to live music at venues throughout the UK throughout the year by enabling them to go to the front of the entrance queue with a friend at Carling Academy Birmingham club nights Ramshackle and Subculture.
Advertising at participating venues will encourage Virgin Mobile customers to text the word ‘Qjump’ to 26666 to receive a Q Jump ticket. The unique barcode tickets will then be redeemed at the venue using RAPOS™ (redemption at point of sale) terminals from ActiveMedia Technology.

Adhish Kulkarni , VP Client Services, Flytxt said: “Virgin Mobile understands its audience and consistently delivers mobile marketing campaigns that reward their loyalty and engage their long term support.
