Sprint selects Inside for Extreme Mobile Ticketing powered by ActiveMedia Technology
23 January, 2007, London: Mobile marketing agency Inside Limited has been selected by telecoms operator Sprint, to deliver mobile promotions campaign powered by ActiveMedia Technology’s mobile ticketing technology at world class ski events across America. The first promotion will run at the X Games winter sports festival in Colorado.
Keen to capitalise on its sponsorship of the highly publicised extreme sports event Sprint is encouraging skiers and boarders to visit Sprint tents on the mountain side through a series of SMS competitions designed by Inside.
To enter the competition sports fans simply text the word "edge" to 70734 to be in with a chance to win a variety of prizes. In return they receive a text with a unique PIN granting access to the Sprint tent to see if they have won. All PIN codes are validated on a live connection via a hand held scanner powered by ActiveMedia Technology.
